Job description:
As a roof tiler the candidate is expected to cover roofs with tiles, sheets and shingles to form a
waterproof surface.
Entry requirements of this job:
Entry will usually require GCSEs grades but if possible, with other academic qualifications
and/or relevant experience is also acceptable. However previous experience of similar work is
preferred.
Tasks required by this job include to:
Install and repair roofs using various materials, including tiles, shingles, and slate.
Measure and cut materials to fit specific roof dimensions.
Ensure precise alignment and weatherproofing for optimal performance.
Collaborate with the construction team to deliver high-quality roofing solutions.
Inspect and assess roofs for maintenance or repair needs.
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations throughout the roofing process.
